Charity Chosen – Devon Air Ambulance Trust

After giving it a bit of thought, we have decided that the charity we want to raise money for on this crazy rally is the Devon Air Ambulance Trust (DAAT).

The Devon Air Ambulance Trust is the charitable trust which raises the funds to keep Devon’s two Air Ambulances airborne.  It costs £2.2 million each year and we want to help raise money in order to support it.  If you’ve ever been to my house, you’ll know just how frequently these air ambulances are called upon!

We are going to give some thought to the different ways we can raise money towards the DAAT, but if you can think of anything before we publish our plans, feel free to comment on this article.  We’ll also be thinking about a target to raise towards, so let us know your thoughts on that too.
